If we only gave you 10 minutes to complete your makeup and skin-care routines, could you do it? Here at Allure, we bring that challenge to celebrities, and the latest to try it is Rita Ora. It wasn’t not an easy task, but in just 10 minutes she managed to deliver a full look with shimmery blue eye makeup.
The “How We Do” singer started the video off by prepping her skin with a lavender face mask and a jade roller. “I use my roller to really get down all the inflammation and put all the product in there,” she said as she glided her roller from her cheeks to her temples.
After peeling off the mask, it was time to add more moisture to her skin, which she did with Augustinus Bader’s The Rich Cream. She noted that she likes its thick formula in comparison to the brand’s other, lighter face creams because it provides a hydrating base for her foundation. “I really like my foundation to feel like it’s second skin,” she shared.
Before she started her makeup, she applied one more product which is a must-have for her — eye cream, specifically Revive Sensitif Eye Cream. “Eye cream is super important for me,” she said as she tapped the cream into her skin. She noted that this specific eye cream has SPF 30 and helps to color-correct.
Then it was time for the makeup. For her complexion, she kept it light in comparison to the full glam she would normally wear for a performance on stage. After blending out her foundation, she applied Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Honey and Crème Brulée to cover her dark circles. She applied the Honey shade first with her fingers, then she added Crème Brulée as her second layer but didn’t immediately blend it out. “My undereye eats my makeup, so I’m going to let this sit and breathe for a little bit,” she shared. As she let her concealer set, she continued to do the rest of her face.
When it came time for the eye makeup, Ora let us know immediately that she was dipping into colorful pigments. “I like to have fun, so I use colors,” she shared before proceeding to line her eyes with a navy blue liner. We won’t spoil everything, though, so if you want to see the rest of Ora’s routine plus the final look, watch the video below.
