PAMM Hosts “One Year Out” Celebration for FIFA World Cup 2026
With just one year to go until the FIFA World Cup 2026, the Miami Host Committee and FIFA will host an official “ One Year Out” celebration at the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) on Wednesday, June 11, starting at 11 a.m., to officially kick off the final countdown to the world’s biggest sporting event.
A major highlight of the day will be the world premiere of a special video featuring international superstar and Miami icon, Marc Anthony, who will make a special guest appearance. As part of a global campaign showcasing all 16 Host Cities, each location selected a notable local personality to represent its unique culture and identity. Marc Anthony, one of the most influential Latin artists of all time, was chosen to represent Miami. His video captures the beauty, rhythm, and resilience of our city, and will be shared with audiences around the globe as part of the FIFA World Cup 2026 celebration.
The “One Year Out” celebration will also offer exclusive access to upcoming tournament initiatives and showcase how Miami is uniquely positioned to host the world. From legacy programs and youth engagement to international visibility and economic impact, the countdown begins with a vibrant tribute to everything that makes Miami extraordinary.
The day will begin with a press conference featuring remarks from key local leaders including Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniela Levine Cava and City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez and will be broadcast live. A Kids Walk Over is scheduled for 12:15 p.m.
